Jacqueline “Jacki” Borroel Diaz from Kent began competing in Special Olympics last year in badminton and track. Through the program she discovered a love for being part of a team and gained confidence as an athlete. Her coaches recognized her determination and positivity by awarding her the Resilience Award! Outside of sports she enjoys anime, arts and crafts, and drawing as a way to express her creativity.
