Kathy Peters of Milton, Washington has dedicated 11 years to Special Olympics, beginning with Unified Champion Schools and later founding a community team in Auburn to keep alumni involved after graduation. A paraeducator in the Auburn School District, she focuses on ability, perseverance, and sportsmanship both on and off the lanes. After overcoming cancer, Kathy channels her resilience into coaching, drawing inspiration from her athletes and the unwavering support of her husband, who coaches alongside her. She looks forward to her first USA Games experience as a celebration of inclusion and the powerful connections built through sport!
