Kevin Short of Puyallup, Washington began participating in Special Olympics in 2007, competing in track and field, basketball, and bowling. He values the friendships and competitive opportunities the program has provided, especially when overcoming medical challenges that required patience and resilience. A strong student and state gold medalist, Kevin takes pride in doing his best regardless of the outcome. He is preparing for the USA Games by staying active and following his coaches’ guidance!
