Candace Madison of Mill Creek, Washington has been involved in Special Olympics for 28 years, competing in bowling, basketball, athletics, bocce, and T-ball. She serves as a team captain, State Ambassador, and active fundraiser, and was honored as Athlete of the Year in 2018!! Candace credits Special Olympics with helping her become more confident and outgoing while building lifelong friendships. She looks forward to the USA Games ceremonies and continues training by bowling weekly to prepare for competition!
