James “Jim” Smith returns as a Unified Partner in Golf after helping teams earn Gold and Silver medals at the State level, and this year he’s aiming even higher the national stage. A proud Tacoma, Washington native, Jim is a passionate supporter of Special Olympics Washington and has inspired athletes across multiple sports. He has trained and competed alongside many incredible athletes, including his daughter Mallory Smith, whose dedication continues to motivate him. Jim believes the true gold medal is watching athletes overcome obstacles, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals.
