Kirk Wells of Moses Lake, Washington has been involved with Special Olympics since 2002, competing in basketball, softball, bowling, bocce, and track. Through the program, he met the love of his life, who is now his wife, and has built lasting friendships along the way! After overcoming health challenges, Kirk takes pride in earning gold medals and continuing to grow as an athlete. He is preparing for the USA Games by training with his own bocce set and looks forward to competing while experiencing a new part of the country!
